I am Marvette Cofield, a licensed REALTOR® since 2003. I decided to become a realtor because of my first two experiences when I bought my first home. I found my home instead of the agent and the agent was not available during the transaction. My second experience was For Sale By Owner (FSBO). The buyer’s agent told me I should consider becoming a realtor because it was one of the smoothest transactions that he had been involved with. These two experiences taught me what was important. Building relationships and communication through education, engagement, and experience to assist a buyer or seller reach their specific needs and goals. I have won many sales accolades including Top Producer and Million Dollar awards over the years. However, I am most excited about giving back to my community through community organizations. I am a member of many real estate and community advocacy organizations, including Prince William Association of Realtors board member and the Economic Empowerment Chair, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, INC, Prince William Chapter, previous sponsor for Purple Runway to provide resources for Domestic violence victims. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering from Mercer University and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology.
